The Guernsey Symphony Orchestra commences its 2008 Credit Suisse Concert series with "A tribute to Rostropovich" featuring Dvorak's cello concerto, Beethoven's overture "The consecration of the house" and Tchaikovsky's Symphony no. 6 "Pathetique". The orchestra is pleased to welcome guest conductor Dominic Wheeler and solo cellist Thomas Carroll.
